Too Much Turquoise

Hello Refashion Co-op. I ended up with several turquoise things on my refashion rack. I decided to put them all together.  I liked the color of this dress but there were so many ruffles. I decided to use some of it to make this shirt a little longer. It was just a little too short and when I raised my arms you could see my stomach a little. I have 3 kids and I didn't like that.

I cut a long narrow strip of fabric from the bottom of the dress. It looks like a crepe paper party streamer, I promise it is fabric.

I pinned it to the bottom of the shirt and stitched them together.

I also had these turquoise jeans. I loved the bright color but the fit wasn't great. I made them shorter and more fitted in the calves. they were really, REALLY loose in the lower leg.

I finished all my sewing, put on all my turquoise clothes, and I was ready to face the world.
