Lining a Lacy Tank

Hello Refashion Co-op. I don't know why so much of woman's clothing is sheer or see-through but I was given a beautiful tank top like that.

I really liked this shirt. It was a nice denim blue color. I liked the floral design and the lace applique was so beautiful. It would need some kind of shirt under it  because it is so open in the back there is no bra that could be worn with this shirt. (And I don't go bra-less.) It was also a little too tight.

    

I also has this little vest in my refashion pile. It is soft light weight knit material and the blue and white stripes match the tank top perfectly. The back of the vest is also the same shape as the tank too. It was a little worn out so I didn't mid cutting it up

    

I used the vest to line the back of the shirt under the lace. I also used a little of the striped fabric on each side of the tank top. The added fabric made the shirt a little more roomy and comfortable for me.

    

I liked this shirt so much. It is great for eating donuts. 

(Mmmm, donuts.)
