Shop my closet for Chicos.

Shop my closet for Chicos. #73-84  of my Back to School Re-fashions.

CHALLENGE: Four years ago, I self-challenged to buy no clothes or fabric. I challenged to shop my closet and re-fashion and fabric stash. In four years, I have bought our home-town university t-shirts and only fabrics to finish out re-fashions. AND…. Chico's knit tops thrifted from another teacher.

BEFORE:  11 thrifted Chico's knit tops. Most had tiny holes in the tummy area. Some had overlarge low neck lines.

WORK INCLUDED:
  • Hand mend tiny holes in 9 shirts.
  • Machine stitch shoulder seams to raise neckline on 3 shirts.
Most had tiny pin-holes in the tummy area.
Easy to hand mend.
Three shirts had low necklines.
Run a seam in the shoulder to raise neckline 1"

I Can Work With That said...

I like using the shoulder seam to raise the neckline also. Why are all these companies making shirts so low cut? You did a good job with the refashioning.
