Hello Refashion Co-op. I was really inspired by Vermaakster's post on January 23. She made a little bag from denim scraps. I wanted to try it too. She included a pattern and everything. Go check that post to see it. Big thanks to you, Vermaakster!
As you can see, I made my bag out of felted wool.
I washed the jacket in hot water to shrink it and removed all the lining.
I cut out my bag pieces from the wool fabric. I love felted wool. It doesn't fray at all.
I even used the pockets from the jacket on one side of the bag.
This was a fun little bag to make. To see more pictures and details about what I did go to I Can Work With That.

Oh, I really love that you used your felt jacket. The washing and shrinking probably made the fabric more solid, good thinking. And you added an inside pocket, one can't have a bag without an inside pocket really...
Hi Vermaakster,
The washing did make the wool thicker. It was fun to work with. Thanks for the idea.
