Men's Shirt into Singlet top

I managed to score this great button up shirt from my husband. He thought it was a bit faded for work, but I loved the stripes.

I turned the shirt inside out to make the most of the brighter stripes on the inside. Cut off the Collar and Sleeves and folded the neckline down to make a tube.

Then I used the leftover sleeve material to make straps that I threaded through the tube and to make a sash.

Dress into flowing skirt

I had this lovely dress that I had bought for a friends wedding but it had sat in my wardrobe for about a year unworn due to being too dressy for my every day life.

I loved the colours and flow of it so I chopped off the top part. Folded it over and inserted some elastic and now I have a lovely flowing skirt.

And I get so many comments on how good it looks! So much better than staying unloved in my wardrobe!

Dress into Flowing Skirt

So I had this lovely dress that I got for a friends wedding. The only problem was it was way too dressy for me to wear on a day to day basis and I still loved the colour.

I chopped the top off and turned the hem down and made myself a great flowing skirt.

I now wear it all the time and get so many lovely comments about it! Gotta love that!!

Old Ball Dress into Little Black Dress

This is the dress my Mum made me for my last year of school Formal Ball. It was lovely and still fitted me!!!
But definitely not sexy enough for the Halloween dress up party I had to go to.

I ended up taking it in at the sides a little and then chopping it off just above my knee. You can see more at my blog Lisa Un-Hemmed. But here it is dress up as a Fallen Angel.

Flowery Dress into Skirt

I had this great summer dress that I stretched out all funny as I wore it a bit when pregnant. So I refashioned it into a skirt with a comfy elastic waist. Am wearing it heaps more now. More details on my blog Lisa Un-hemmed.

Merino Maternity Top into Cardigan

This lovely red warm merino maternity top was all stretched out from my second pregnancy. So I thought I would refashion it into a cardigan to get some more use out of it.

I cut it up the middle, over locked the edges and turned over and added some red buttons.

Woman's Fleece Hoodie Refashioned into Baby Overalls

Hi there.

My name is Lisa from Lisa Un-hemmed Refashions and Creations. This is my first time blogging on Refashioned Co-op and I am so excited to be here.

I live in sunny Hawkes Bay in New Zealand, and I am a stay at home mum to two little boys and I love creating and refashioning things for myself and them.

I had lots of fun refashioning some baby overalls from a old hoodie that had got oil damaged.
Here is what the hoodie was like before, and after made into the overalls.

I used the hoodie sleeves to make the legs of the overalls.

It turned out awesome and nice and snuggly for my little Tigger.
