...ly awful! Yikes! My less-than stylish growing-out 'do isn't helping, but neither is that terrible dress! I loathed the velvet-lined collar and cuffs, but really dug that paisley print! I know it's really dated nowadays, but I still love paisley prints! :)
Anywho...I carefully seam-ripped the collar off, chopped off the sleeves, and hacked off a bit of the length. After sewing all of my raw edges under and restoring the neck, I was all set for a typical Wednesday! :)
As it was a bit chilly out, I donned leggings and my favorite thrifted army sweater to keep me cozy!

I love paisleys! hense the tattoo on my arm ;) the before dress is wild! i never cease to be amazed by such "out-there" garments i find while op-shopping! the after is definately much, much better!
I'm also a big fan of paisley! It's amazing what a huge difference chopping off the collar and part of the sleeves can make.
