Evil Bird

hello...i loved the evil bird print on this tee i thrifted a few years back but the fit was all wrong...too tight around the amholes, loose around the middle and and awkward length:

 

i tried cutting open the armholes & taking it in down the sides but it still didn't look right! so i decided to scrap the tee & just cut out the bird!

then i very carefully trimmed around the whole outline then sewed it onto an old dress i had made:

and here it is on:
