Maxi Skirt with Starboard Technique waist

Hi, Erica here. So I found a great dress for $5 in my local op shop (thrift store) and loved the print, but the dress itself was particularly tiny.

With the amount of fabric I had to work with, I've made it into a maxi skirt, with an elasticated waist just at the back, no elastic at the front of the waist, just a front pleat, using the Starboard Skirt technique.

It is very comfortable, and perfect for an expanding waistline
