Having used this one while breast feeding, it was pretty far gone and was about 6 inches to wide around now, although the cup size wasn't too far out. Being a very simple style I thought- Why not?
The first step was to put it on and measure how much needed to be removed.
Then I just straight sewed it back on. I had made sure to cut out the section so the ends would match in height when reattached.
Then I zig zagged over the join and used a smaller zig zag to reattach the strap in approximately the right place.
An easy refashion and if it works, I might also rescue some other, prettier ones that have become too big.

A good way to get more life out of bras. Especially as nursing bras can be so expensive!

I do this to bras all the time. My bra size is 30G. My solution is to buy 36DD and chop the back (The cups are the same size). I have also bought 38Ds and done the same thing.
It's a great money saver. My choice was refashion or start making my own bras. I might still make my own, but right now refashioning works.

Theresa
