In The Pink

Hello Refashion Co-op. This long sleeve T-shirt was in need of some help. It was in good condition but the burgundy stripes has bled a little in the wash. The stripes looked a little muddy. I thought some dye would cover that up.

I chose this "Petal Pink" Rit Dye. Isn't that a great name? I thought the pink would look great with the burgundy stripes. I grabbed a bucket and set up a dye bath.

I took some extra off the arms, the length, and the sides. I didn't want it to be tight, just a little smaller.

The new fit is great but the color is so much more fun now. I think the pink is perfect for Springtime.

It is at great clour for you. I also love dyeing stuff. Et voila and the garment is completely transformed.

Thanks Stine, it is a quick and easy way to change the whole look. I have trouble choosing the color though.

Always love stripes. The color combo gives the shirt just enough difference to make it special. Great save on the color bleed. Hate when that happens.

Thanks ladies, the white was boring but the pink has a lot of fun to it.
Happy sewing to you all.
