When I first got this tee shirt, I really liked it because it was super soft and comfortable. I wasn't sold on the sleeves though. It's not that I don't like them, but I just didn't like them on this tee shirt. I saved them for a later project. Maybe on a cute little dress? We'll see... :)
So I wanted the skirt part of this new dress to have some drape, so I traced out two pieces of a dress I had. I only traced the skirt part.
Then, I chopped off the sleeves and added new ones.
To make this dress extra feminine, I traced some scallops and cut them out.
Since I love lace, I added some lace to the sides.
The last part was to make some binding to finish off the sleeves.
Ta Da! :)

Adorable, as everything you make!

Just last week I saw the scallop hem on a dress one of our younger teachers wore. Did you hem or face it? Or leave undone? Either way, this is darling. The lace with the stripe peaking through is spot on.
As always a great re-fashion.
Gorgeous!
