I got this merino wool cardigan sweater from the thrift store already felted, and it was begging me to become a skirt! I love the rolled original hem, and little belts... it made for some great detail in the skirt. I originally had sewn the cardigan opening closed all the way, but since taking the pictures, I have seam ripped the bottom 4 inches back open. It lays, moves, and looks a lot better now!
