Georgette's sexy scarf dress

Hello! I know it's early, but all the talk of prom at school got me wondering and I have now decided that I am going to make my own prom dress. A refashiony one. 5th years are not permitted to go to prom so I have a whole year before it's my turn, but knowing me, it's better to prepare well in advance. I like the idea of draping, so I came up with the idea to use a pashmina to play about with and get shapes I like. This dress started life as a rather fetching scarf from the acessorize sale that I wore once to a wedding. After much fiddling I came up with this snazzy little number modeled by the lovely Georgette ( yeah, my dress form has a name). I love how it drapes and I do like the backlessness but I don't know about the halter top. I've just pinned it in place but I though I would share my design progression with you. You never know, this could be the one! :)
