Neogrunge?

In 1993 my mother made this lumber shirt for me (grunge says hi). It is wool and warm and soft. 

I wanted to refashion it, but nothing I did worked.

I was almost ready to throw it in the trash (damning myself for having ruuned it), when I read this post: http://refashionco-op.blogspot.dk/2013/09/plaid-top-refashion.html . And the shirt was saved in the last minute. 

I could have put a zipper in, but since I'm hypermobile, I just button myself up in the back.
