A friend gave me this tunic. I loved the floral pattern and the light, flowing fabric, but it was too big and the orange borders....well, I'll be nice and say, that they weren't my style.
I cut off the orange borders, leaving only the innermost of it, that had a grey stripe with white dots (+ enough of the orange to have something to fold back). I like how it gives the tunic a more "finished" look than if I had just removed the entire border.
I inserted elastic in the new sleeve hem. And finally I took the tunic in at the sides.
This tunic is so versatile, it's definitely a new wardrobe favourite.
Great with skinny jeans, on its own or with a longsleeved T-shirt.
.And thin enough to work as a blouse.
I think I could even wear it as a party dress with a slip under.

I love it! Great refashion!
P.S. I love the pattern of the tunic/blouse. I love the classic look to it.
