The blouse was easy. It was quite nice, but just too tight in the neck for me. To remedy this, I simply cut a new neckline and used some polka dot bias tape leftover from another refashion to finish the edge.
Then it was time to tackle that frumpy, floral skirt. I removed about a foot of fabric off the bottom of the skirt and used it to create the new bodice.

Love the dress! Also impressed with the way you mimicked the pleats of the skirt in the bodice, lovely work!! Would love to know how the back opening of the dress works, did you attach a long zip to the entire back of the garment? Thank you :)
I love it. Now I know what to do with that white dress sitting in my refashion pile.
The new neckline on the top makes such a difference. I like the dress, very pretty for spring.
