The Hot Fall Weather Dress

Hello Refashion Co-op. I know it's October but it is a hot 85 degrees today where I live. What is going on? It's way too hot. I had this cute light weight skirt with lots of nice fall colors. This would make a great. light-weight dress for this super hot day.

It has a nice knit waistband. I made 2 cuts in the waistband near the seam the attaches to the skirt. I didn't cut the skirt fabric, just the knit waistband. It won't fray.

Those two cuts made nice armholes without anymore altering.  It made a loose shapeless dress that just needed a belt.
