Denim Days; Much Too Distressed

Hello Refashion Co-op. My jeans were too distressed. I loved these pink jeans but all the distressing I did made them awful to wear on cold fall days. I could put them away until spring or I could try to fix them.

I put some scrap fabric inside the leg of the jeans and used a zigzag stitch to close the holes. Some holes were too large to close so I stitched around the edges and let the brown fabric peek out.

I really liked how they turned out. They still look a little messy and distressed but they are a lot warmer now. That was what I wanted. I liked the messy distressing, I just didn't like the cold. (Does the leg on the right look like a sleeping face? Is it just me?)
