Hello Refashion Co-op. I hope all of you are safe and well. I found this pretty lace t-shirt at a clothes swap and didn't realize right away that the front was see through.
I mean truly see-through. I am not living a see through shirt kind of life, so this needed to be fixed. Yes, I could just wear 2 shirts but that is annoying. The maker could have made a shirt that covered my body. Y'know like a shirt usually does. Anyway.....
I used this freebie promo t-shirt as a lining. I used the back of the blue shirt to line the front of the lace shirt. I pinned it together and did my sewing along the seams. The back was solid and opaque, so it didn't need any lining.
The lining turned out great. The lace really pops with the blue behind it.
Thanks for reading along, for more pictures and details go to I Can Work With That.

Might I offer a suggestion? Maybe next time either use the back of the t-shirt (so the logo doesn't show thru the lace) or turn the t-shirt inside out and use that as the lining that way your logo still doesn't show... you might have to redo the hem... but it would work also. Looks cute
