The $1 Outfit

 

 

Hell Refashion Co-op. Happy 2021 to all of you. Let's hope it is a better year. I put this outfit together for $1. That is a good way to start 2021, right?

This sweater was my husbands and it has the company logo from a job he had ages ago. I wanted to resize it and cover that logo.

I used this flower to cover the logo. The flower was on a box of Tieks that my daughter bought. It had an elastic band on it. I cut the elastic off and pinned it to my sweater like a broach. It covered the logo perfectly.

These denim jeans had a great pattern. I got them for less than $1 at a thrift store bag sale. They just needed to fit better at the waist and hips. I tapered the calves to make them skinny jeans.

The fit of both of these was much better and I got them both almost for free.
