Hello Refashion Co-op. I did a sweatshirt refashion that I wanted to share. This pink sweatshirt was plain and simple. It was perfect for a project.
I also had a pink shirt with a lacey scalloped hem. I wanted to use it to make bell sleeves.
I also had a pair of lacey shorts. They were too small for me to wear as shorts. I just wanted to use them for the lace.
I cut the sleeves of the sweatshirt and took the sides in just a bit.
I made bell sleeves from the shirt and I added lace to the waistband to dress it up.
I was really happy with this "fancy" new sweatshirt. All the pieces of this new shirt came from clothes swaps over the last few years so the cost was $0. I did buy thread so maybe it was a few cents.
Thanks for reading along, for more pictures and details go to I Can Work With That.

Cute refashion & pink is a good color for Valentines Day!
Super cute! You took a plain sweat shirt and made it so fancy!
Thank you both for the comments. I was so happy with this cheerful pink color too. The sleeves were so fun too.
