T-shirt to summer top

Hello friends,

here is my latest "family" refashion.
My brother donated lots of old t-shirts that has no meaning to him. So I made one top for me and my daughter, only in different colours.
I was inspired by July Burda magasin.

and the original blue t-shirt, the red top was done from 2 t-shirts:

Winnie the Pooh t-shirt to dress

Very simple refashion from ladies t-shirt to toddler's dress. I traced one of her dresses onto the tshirt, cut out, and attached simple haft-circle puff sleeves.

Hooping pants

Hello,

this refashion is my favorite when it comes to clothes to hoop in. I took my old yoga pants and added over skirt from a fabric I had, I took as well little tutu skirt that was way too short for me and added it to the butt of my pants. I used all the layers of the tutu skirt which is little bit heavy, next time I would't use all of it.
But overall, they are very fun to dance in.

Spring jacket

Hello lovelies,

here is my latest, and very late (sorry), refashion.

Thrifted xxl long coat that I cut, put waistband and sleeves in, and voilà, new spring jacket. I forgot to take the old picture.
But here is the new one:

Green dress

Hello there, here is quite simple refashion from XXL dress from Goodwill that had lovely green colour and nice details around neckline and waist.
I am not sure if this shape suites me well, but I enjoy the dress a lot, it is very comfortable to wear.

Jacket transmorphed into Funky Hat and Bag

Hello lovelies, so I was in need of a bag and had an idea to transform a jacket which I got from second had shop for few dollars.

Chopped off the collar and shoulders, put in a zip and use the sleeves as the strap.

 Here is the original jacket:

... and than I was left with this....

... which got my creative juices running and came up with this hat...

Dress refashion

For my daughter's 8th birthday, I have resized adult thrifted dress into kid's friendly version, plus one tutu, one skirt with lace details and few "wings" from old nightie... and one huge bow that she put on a head band.

Doesn't she look lovely, my big princess....

Winter refashion

Cozy long maxi skirt for winter refashioned from huge dress. I sewed the longed sleeves into the side seems on top of the skirt, so it creates different looks... 

here just secured with safety pin, nice flower would be cool, to have a little bustle...

... sleeves left hanging on side, quite like this one too...

... tied in a bow...

.... and looped under the skirt to create short over skirt maybe.... lots of possibilities...

Munchkin dress

After one day of wearing my new dress, my husband said I looked like a Munchkin! Don't get me wrong, I like being called Munchkin, it makes me feel happy and silly at the same time :)

So this is how 2012 Munchkin dress looks like:

Shoulder pads and buttons removed, sleeves re-positioned closer to the neckline, from this 80' version of munchkin outwear:

Just can't let go ...

of my ancient jeans which started to fall apart, so I sewed a panel of patchwork looking fabric on the front legs.  I really like how it looks like, nice new twist to ordinary jeans.....
now the back starts to fall apart !
