Turn old leggings into a fancy pouch

Anyone else had a pair of leggings with zippers towards the end that you don't wear anymore? (I hope it's not only me.... haha) Here's sharing with you an easy way of turning them into a fancy pouch!

If your leggings don't have zippers, simply sew in your own or use an old pouch as a base.

A quick toga dress refashion

Everyone tends to be really busy from time to time, which is why a super quick refashion is sometimes the best solution for a pick-me-upper!

Here's a fast and easy way to change up an old dress into a toga dress in five minutes flat. The toga dress gives the overall look a little bit more edge. Pair it with a cool necklace and you're good to go! :)

Turn old zippers into a new necklace

Hi everyone!

Do you remember the craze when random zippers were placed all over clothes and bags? I certainly had a few pieces like that! If you don't plan to wear them anymore, why not take those zippers and turn it into something else!

This was a pink skirt I had from some time back (I don't exactly know why I got it... oops!):

After unpicking the zippers, I made it into a simple, classic and timeless necklace:

Make a necklace from an old tee or sweatpants

I'm sure many of us have old tees or a pair of sweatpants lying around. If you've stopped wearing it for some time, why not turn it into something different and more wearable!

Transform an old loose dress into a new lace one!

Hi everyone! I'm Michele from micheleng.com and it's an honor to be part of this community to share refashioning ideas! :)

Since leaving my full-time job in marketing a year back, I've dived deep into a whole new world of fashion design, make up and craft which I thoroughly enjoy! In this journey I've also found much fulfillment in sharing tips and tricks I've learnt along in the way in making life more creative and enjoyable.

But enough about me and onto my latest refashion - transforming an old, loose dress into a new lace one!

 

I used to throw this on to layer with tanks and accessories but recently it's been way too hot! In a few quick steps using some lace and simple stitches, the dress was transformed into a fun new lace piece without the need for layering!
