Just Sew: Ruffled Scarf

WARNING:  If you have made a New Year's resolution about decluttering your wardrobe or closet, you may not want to look at this project.  It is ridiculously quick (less than fifteen minutes), extremely cute, and very versatile.  Even the post will take less than five minutes to read.  Be careful!

Shirt Refashion From A Dress

I found this dress at a thrift store and didn't try it on first. It was a tad too tight, so much that I couln't breath in it when zipped up. So I added it to my refashion pile. I ended up making a shirt that is a very versatile  piece in my wardrobe. The shirt is the bottom part of the dress. (The hem line is now the neck line)

A little bag

Hello!
Happy New Year!

I had this summer blouse but had an accident and tore her up:

As I was in need of a suitcase, bought thin chain and made this little bag:
Hope you enjoy. You can see more of my work here: http://opincel.blogspot.pt/

Short Circuit

Has it been thirty days already? My, how the time flies during the holidays! This super simple refashion was about all the sewing I had time for this month. It started as a dress I picked up at a clothes swap I went to a couple months back.

Circuit Board Top Refashion

I have way too many dresses and not enough tops it seems. Plus, those apron-esque pockets are rather strange. This was just a basic cut-and-hem make-over, but I find it so much more wearable now.

Merino Maternity Top into Cardigan

This lovely red warm merino maternity top was all stretched out from my second pregnancy. So I thought I would refashion it into a cardigan to get some more use out of it.

I cut it up the middle, over locked the edges and turned over and added some red buttons.
