I had a useless XXL tunic that I couldn't wear because it looked like a sack on me. So I took in the side seams, shortened it and cut off the short sleeves. The refashion was easy and straightforward and the result was a nice, comfortable cotton summer dress. But I didn't want it white so I dyed it dark blue. I'm very satisfied with the result.

Yes, I'm not a fan of white clothes so dyeing it seemed like a good idea. It came out even better than expected.
I think the blue looks so nice!
