I made this blouse a few years ago. I really liked the fabric but never liked the collar. I regretted not making a dress or a tunic. I had very little of this fabric left over, just a single strip about 30cm in width just about enough to add a piece to the end but it wouldn't look right.


 I spotted this skirt in the January sales for €1 at a guess I thought it might match the color of my blouse and it did!


 I cut off the button stand and made a centre seam down the front. I did quite a bit of adjusting with the shoulder seams to get them to sit right. using the fabric for the skirt I made bias binding for the neckline.
I also added shoulder pads.



I added the strip of leftover blouse fabric to the end. After deciding what length I would like I added a strip of skirt fabric and ended up with a new dress!
