Hand-stitching on the brown shirt
I took the two pockets off on top, the black and white picture shows the result.
Lets do some stitching on the front like this, those variety vertical pattens together make one big patten. I also stitched some horizontal patterns on the cover of the button packets to balance the top vertical patten.

Thank you so much, I think this technique can apply to many clothes, it is the easy way to makeover.
I am very impressed, seriously! I can't imagine having the patience for this. Having said that, I'm actually considering it because of your inspiration. :)
@Repurposeful: I know, right? I don't have the slightest patience to hand stitch anything, but Super Leaf makes it look so easy! Argh! I want to try but I know I'll quit 30 seconds in. :)
The hand stitching is so effective, and you end up with a unique piece.

It took less time than you guys thought, I am not kidding! Once you start, you start to enjoying the process, when each detail came out, the enjoyment of stitching make everything easier! You get to believe me, because I did, and going to do more later.
