The Combo Leftovers

Hello Refashion Co-op. I used the top of this dress in a recent project and I didn't want the bottom part of the dress to go to waste. It was a nice soft knit.

This leftover lower part of the dress could have been a long skirt but I didn't want that. I wanted a shorter crop style shirt. So that's what I made.

I cut out a half circle sort of shape. And a neck hole of course. If I had more fabric, I could have made a longer shirt or a tunic. Maybe next time.

I thought it would look great over a longer shirt underneath like a tank. It is so soft and comfortable, I love it. It adds a little warmth too. Great for when you go to a restaurant or store with too much cold air conditioning. Brrr!
