Hello Refashion Co-op. Do you ever have trouble finding denim that fits your waist and your hips? I do, and my friend did too. I refashioned these denim shorts for her so they would fit her waist. They were a little tight and uncomfortable.
Who could fit this tiny waist? No one is this small.
I cut a couple of small pieces of denim from some scrap material. I also cut the sides open at the waist. I made 3 inch cuts. I planned to insert the dark denim fabric into the shorts.
Here are the finished shorts. They look great with the contrasting denim and they fit better too.
