COVID 19 brought me down, so I made this flirty, flutter sleeve top to cheer myself up.
This refashion started as a Forever 21 maxi dress I bought 2 years ago at the thrift store. Finding the perfect pattern that would highlight the cheerful floral design took me a long time.
I remade the dress with Itch-to-Stitch's Chirripo pattern because it paired well with the vintage-inspired print. The ruffles are so fun and feminine!
This is my first time making a squared neckline, and I'm really digging it. The collar is super easy to sew as it's mostly straight-line sewing, and the facing neatly hides the gathering of the bodice.

This is so cute! I like the ruffle placement. It looks great as sleeves.
