A little dress

This is a dress is in size 1 year or so.


Sewed of a bit of curtain, a bit of a t-shirt, some lace, and a zipper.

Easter holiday and long evenings in my hobby room along with my sewing machines... = Happiness!! ;-)

This time I forgot to take pictures of before..  but I have used t-shirts, curtains and jeans.  All cotton fabrics.

The one to the right, is the "sister" of the one I blogged before..

Baby´s dress

My daughter´s shirts again... She gave med several in beautiful colours.. 

This time I used a blueish shirt and a pink t-shirt for this refashion.

A baby´s dress in size 80 (1 -2 years).  A nice summers dress..

Close up of the shoulders. This was inside the shirt¨s sleeves to button it up (or how you say it in english)... My engslish is not so good... ;.-)

Hoodie

The shirt-hoddie result

My daughters hoodie and shirt - became a shirt-hoodie.

I just cut off the shirts sleeves and collar.

Used the sleeves for template for the new sleeves.

Placed the hoodie - and my daughter got a new garment!

Knitted jacket or coat

This time I got a knitted jacket from a friend. Lovely colours, and best og all; I had some wool fabric with similar colour..

Biker jacket

This is my latest redesign project. A biker jacket made from an Adidas sweatpant, a skarf and a jeans, and som leftovers from a curtain.

Wild roses

This time I forgot to take pictures of the garments before sewing.  I used a long sleeve black t-shirt, a black lace underwear and some cotton fabric that I think was ment for curtains..

Well, here is the result..

Another curtain-makeover..

I bougt this curtain ment for redesigning my dining chairs... but it was the wrong color..
However, the fabric is great.. and with one of my husbands old t-shirts it became a dress...

And my husbands old t-shirt... I used the arms, and some of the fabric to make the hearts..

Pink summer dress and a curtain..

I got a pink tank top from a friend... and had a curtain made of thin transparent cotton.  The top was very long.

I simply cut the bottom of the top and sewed it on with the bottom up. Sewed a top of the curtain with a string in the middle.  I can use it with or without the "curtain" top..

This is the result.

A codfish became a purse...

The cod fish before the skin is tanned

This project was fun to make. I came over an amount of cod fish leather in different colours.
It is kind of loose, but is ok for purses and may be garnish for clothes.  I`ll try it out later.

However - this purse is made of the fish leather in front and some jeans leftovers in back and decoration  in front.

My Daughters Military Shirt

Buttons in bright colours!

My daughters shirt..

This project is made out of my daughters military shirt.
Together with some cotton fabric - I think it is ment for duvet covers - white whith grey flower print -
it became a summer dress.

And suddenly it became a dress

A tunic from pants and poncho

This time I had a poncho made of cotton knit fabric and training pants in a black cotton fabric.

I cut the pants and sewed it together as a skirt. I used the waisteband with elastics and a tie band as well in the middle. Then I mad the top and used leftover fabric from the pants to make the arm and neckline.

 These t-shirts just asked for redesigning..

The black "Dolce"-t-shirt was bought in Bulgaria in a street market.. but the fabric is solid.

The blue one, was bought in a norwegian men´s clothes store called Dressmann, but is now too small for my husband...




Nice fabric and nice colours. ( I´m sorry for the bad quality of the pictures...)

The story of my husbands old t-shirts

Once upon a time my husband had several black t-shirts..

 Suddenly two of them  were transformed into a tunic or top.

Coloured  external seams and yellow buttons as decoration in front.
