Hello Refashion Co-op. Happy St. Patrick's Day. I had a great T-shirt for the day but I wanted to dress it up a bit.
It was in great shape but it was a little plain and a little boxy.
I threaded thin elastic through the finished edge of the sleeve.
It made the sleeves gather together and look like almost like a ruffle.
I used some white lace to dress up the bottom edge of the shirt. I used the stitches from the edge as a guide to stitch the elastic on the shirt.
I hope you have a fun and lucky day tomorrow.
Thanks for reading, now go make something fun for yourself.

That's really cute! I like the lace trim and the gathered sleeves... I would never have thought of that :) I'm always taking the elastic out instead of putting it in (on sleeves...) lol.
Thanks Accidental Seamstress, It was easy and it seemed to look more feminine. Chickie
Ohhh! Just in time. Thanks so much for sharing the elastic tip. I needed this for one of my Spring Break Projects. And I love the fun St. Paddy shirt.
Thanks RanchHouse! I am enjoying your spring break sewing.
