Shop my closet for shirts. #85-96 of my Back to School Re-fashions.
CHALLENGES:
- Four years ago, I self-challenged to buy no clothes or fabric. I shop my closet and the re-fashion and fabric stash.
- At the beginning of summer vacation, I self-challenged to mend, alter, change buttons on 100 items. 96 "Light Re-fashions" are back in the Back to School rotation.
- Four more items and I will start on "Full-on Re-fashions"
BEFORE: 11 shirts from the closet that needed small tweaks.
WORK INCLUDED:
- Change out from factory standard buttons. I have thousands of buttons in stash from a store close-out.
- Remove collars and bulky pockets on some shirts.
- Seam down facings.
- Release darts for a bit of movement.
- Remove worn lace from earlier re-fashions.

Earlier refashion added lace to cuff and hem. Cuff lace was a bit drab. |

I love how you shop from the closet! Very eco-friendly and they look great.

What a great idea to post a group of small updates - I've been feeling my mending and minor alterations are not worth posting. Now I will reconsider as these are giving me ideas. Thanks!
