Hello Refashion Co-op. I know winter is coming so I have been getting some sweaters ready. One of them was so dull and drab it was just sad.
Before and after.
The butterflies on the front of this sweater were pretty but the sweater itself was so washed out. It was just so blah.
I wanted to get a color close to the rose gold of the butterflies. I have never mixed dye but I knew you could do it. I decided to mix some cocoa brown and some petal pink. I hoped for a pinkish brown.
I put both dyes into my washing machine and stirred the dye a little to mix the colors. Then I put the sweater in to the dye and let my washer do the rest of the work.
I opened my washer and found that it had worked out well. The color was just what I wanted.
I thought this color was so much better. It really worked well with the butterflies. Thanks for reading along, For more sweater refashions go to I Can Work With That.

It turned out to be beautiful!
I'm always fond of dye projects:). The mixed colours match the butterflies perfectly, great result!
Thank you for the comments. I was happy the color worked out so well.
