Refashioning one item into two x 2!

Hiya I am having a rather productive week sewing wise...for these refashions I start with one unworn garment & end with two very wearable pieces :)
Old pj pants of mine the elastic went so I replaced it with new elastic then cut the legs off & hemmed to make summer pj shorts:
Out of the left over legs I decided to make a matching top & ended up with this sweet set :

The next thing I picked to refashion was this pretty wrap top I thrifted for $1 earlier this year:
I wasn't really sure what to do with it but I knew I needed to get rid of the ugly cotton lining so once I got rid of that it became clear:
All I had to do was take it in at the bust then roll hem all the raw edges to make it a tie front vest! I was left with the bottom piece which after playing around with it i decided to just trim it down alittle hem and use as a sash/belt:
Love having my sewing mojo back! And if you'd like to see the other stuff I've been making come say hi at made with love by hulibug =)

Beautiful as always Huli. The pajamas are not only cute, they look super comfy too.

The PJs are especially clever, I think!
