Introducing House of Pinheiro !

Oi  (It’s Hi in Portuguese) Girls,

I am excited to share some of my refashion with you!

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Rachel and I am Brazilian.
I have been working & living in England for more than 7 years with HRH.
I always loved the idea of sewing but didn't have time due working long hours. In 2009, HRH gave me machine to keep me busy as I spent lots of time at home due a heath issue and I never looked back. I am so impressed how wonderful the sewing community is and I made many wonderful friends.

I have a blog on everything I do called HOUSE OF PINHEIRO and I share my latest projects on sewing, what’s is cooking in my small kitchen , whatever other crafts I am trying my hand on (knitting, soft toy) …I am a very busy girl so If you would like to have a look and join me, I would love to share my musings with you. http://houseofpinheiro.blogspot.com/
You can see all my past refashioning under the tab- Refashion.
If I would try to describe me in words I would say … I am a brainiac, fashionista, happy, creative, tall, fun, foodie, inventive, passionate, impulsive, friendly, opinionated girl….
Enough of talking- lets get some refashioning done…
As I am member of Sew weekly community ,were we are given themes as sewing challenges, this week theme is Nautical and with so many Ill fitting clothes in my wardrobe waiting to be rescued I couldn’t resist using this “mom style” top into a cute fun skirt! Say Ahoy Sailor Skirt!

Before:

Last time I used- spring 2008
Only a little snip!

After:
Nautical skirt
One strip of fabric + Elastic= 10 minutes and a new outfit !Just show that with little resource and a lot of imagination you can refashion any item !

I will be posting details of this refashion on my blog later in the week !
Lots of Love, House of Pinheiro
