Star Trek Refashion

When this frock came to me via my grandmother, all I could think of was Star Trek – something about the design, and the, um, skort(?) just seemed a little Trekky.

Though the transformation looks dramatic, it wasn’t that much work to change the look of this outfit into something I might be able to wear in public in 2013:

• Removed the, skort thing (I have no idea what the technical term for that is called)
• Remove the collar and add a slight v to the neckline
• Brought top in on sides
