Before I was a
mountain biking, minivan driving,
wardrobe refashioning,
public school advocating,
church going,
marathon training,
dog owning,
kid’s journal creating,
sparkly running skirt wearing, mother of four living in the OC, I designed children’s clothes in NYC for a little company that rhymes with Cold Gravy. While finding the time to be creative is harder than ever, I have never felt more creatively fulfilled.
Back in 2006, I joined Wardrobe Refashion and it totally changed the way I looked at clothing & sewing. In 2008 I started my blog, This Mama Makes Stuff to highlight my refashioning projects as well as my other sewing & crafting projects (as well as some biking and running).
I'm so happy to be a part of Refashion Co-op!
I found this old dress at the thrift store and those ruffles told me it had a lot of promise.
You can find a few more details about the refashion
HERE on my blog.

That is such a pretty dress - I'm so happy you were able to refashion it so that it could get some more use.
Welcome to Refashion Co-op!
