My four year old had a brilliant idea this morning. She was rooting around in my office for something to play with, and came to me with two googly eyes and a handmade pincushion (tutorial of
sorts here). How could I not have seen the potential of putting these two things together? And what does not benefit from adding googly eyes? Nothing! I'm sure
Christopher Walken would agree.

My toddler is growing fast out of his summer clothes, so I cut up one of his old shirts and used it as a pattern for a new one! I didn't realize until the very end that the shirt looks uncannily like Spock's uniform. Kind of? Maybe? No?

That is so cute and slightly geeky (which in my world adds extra coolness).

I like the Trekkie top. I'm sure he will get lots of wear out it. The pin cushion is very cute too.
