Pretty Lace

Hiya! My friend gifted me this skirt she no longer wanted: 
So 1st I removed the lace over skirt and cut off the seams to get 6 pieces. I took the 2 biggest pieces from the centre front & back:
Chopped some length from the bottom & evened up the sides. I then sewed a small seam at each shoulder, sewed the side seams together & roll hemed the raw edges on the sleeves & hem:
And here's the finished look:
I still have abit of lace and the inner skirt to work with so you'll be seeing more of it soon ;)

Oooh, that is sooo pretty! I would never have thought to turn a skirt into a little top like that. It looks great with the turquoise underneath
