I decided to cover some shoes with one of my favourite fabrics. For a first effort they came out ok but I think I will be making another pair or two to get the technique right, and my five year old daughter is now really wanting a pair.

I love your fabric choice. Mixing 2 was a good idea. They turned out great!
I suggest you skip the poly and just spray. I used Krylon crystal clear on mine.
