Granny wants her shorts back

I got these lovely shorts from the thrift store near my parents house when I went home to visit for Christmas. I really would have loved to the explore the goodwills in south Florida as I think it would have some great gems to refashion from all the retirees.

But they sort of suck as shorts. The hidden pocket zipper was cool. I thought though would turn out to be a great pencil skirt. I undid the inseam and re-sewed back together to make a skirt.
