Let's so fly a kite!

It all started with this dress. I called it my pink kite dress b/c the pattern looks like small kites flying. it was a bargain at $0.99.

But there was a bunch wrong with it. The sleeves were the worst offenders. The elastic in the casing was shocking! But I loved the fun diagonal ruffles on the bodice. So pulled off those sleeves, fixed the armholes, took some off the bottom, and paired it with a belt for this end picture.

Much better right? I used a slip underneath to combat some of the sheerness. This is how I feel the dress intended to look, someone just ruined it with sleeves. :)
