Old Lady dress refashion

Hi everyone! I'm Amanda from It's Blogworthy, and I'm a refashion addict. I''m so excited to be a part of the Refashion Co-Op!

I got my first sewing machine in May and began falling in love with creating my own clothes for next to nothing. I love that I can get something new for my closet and bring life into old clothes.

One of my favorite refashions to date has been my "old lady" dress refashion.

Ain't she a beaut, Clark?

I found this dress at a thrift shop for a couple of bucks and loved the material, but the style wasn't cutting it for me. I may be in my 30s, but I'm not a 60 year old church lady, ya know? So I trimmed, hemmed and ruffled and came up with my cute "Young person" dress.

That's more like it! If you want to get my step-by-step plan for making an old lady dress new again, check out my tutorial on the blog!
