Upcycled green sweatskirt.

I loved the sweatpants too much to throw them away, but they were in tatters. So I decided to go with their flow and add more tatters to the mix. I cut the sweatpants legs into long triangle shapes and then stitched the tip of the triangle to the sweatpants waistband.

Then I cut a tube from an old, brown, skull-laden tshirt and added it as an underlayer.

Then I added more triangle-ish tatters from upholstery and fabric scraps. Finally, I stitched part of an old silk sash to the waist for a splash of color. More and such at Alina's Adventures in Homemaking.
