Do I Have Bats in My Belfry?

Meet my part 5 of my "1 Pattern Many Looks Series." Actually, this look was supposed to be part 6, but the real part 5 was/is not cooperating!!!

Do you see bats on the bottom? Some say they do...

.This "before" was a little mystery gem that I picked up from Goodwill. The tag inside just said: 100% silk made in Kuwait. I would bet it has a fun back story but I will never know. I loved the hombre pattern and had aspirations to make a maxi out of it, but ultimately gave in to using my woven t-shirt pattern.

A close up of the pattern reveals that what you see are not bats, but little, swirly, black, finger painting like blobs. After several outings, and many comments of, "Are those bats?", I had to give up and admit the shirt does look "Halloweenie." So, I am just going to go along with it and say, "Yes, I do have bats in my belfry!"
