Super easy way to turn old pants to slit skirt

I bought this pijama pants in thrift shop few days ago and instantly knew that I will refashion them into skirt. At first I thought about simply  not too long skirt but  this fabric ,  clear colors and this lovely floral pattern  convinced me that long slit skirt will better option.

Plus I will be able to wear it not only during summer season , with long boots it'll be perfect for autumn and spring as well .
