DIY Twisted Pearl Necklace

I'm mostly a clothing refashion kind of girl, but sometimes I like adding more jewelry to my extensive collection. While I love the "fashion" jewelry (i.e. costume jewelry), I draw the line at plastic beads.

You know those kinds of plastic beads; the ones you wear at high school football games or from a wild Mardi Gras night (no judging here.) They are cheap and have tacky colors, but I found a way to turn them into something lovely for fall.

It turned out even nicer than I expected, and now that I can do it, I'm planning on making a ton of them in different colors. Check out my instructional how-to and make some pretties for fall!
