Hello all. I am April, aka: Craftymomma. I am so excited to join Refashion Co-op as a contributor. I have followed the site for a year now. I started refashioning about 6 years ago. I love to take something cast off and bring new life to it.
A little more about me. I live in central Oklahoma. I am working on my Ph.D. in history. My focus is womens history and crafts and textiles. I am married and have one 9 year old son. I love to investigate the paranormal, read, and craft and art are my passion.
The refashions below I completed recently. My before pics were deleted some how. The first was an old t'shirt that cuffs and neck had been cut off. I just sewed an old mens neck tie to the collar and left the sleeves with raw edges.
The next was an old company work hoodie my hubby had. I took an old mens black and white plaid shirt and covered the inside of the hood. Then to cover the logo I used a pocket from the shirt and even left it usable. Then for a girlie touch I addef some lace to the cuffs and bottom band. The pic looks like the gray is two toned but it was just a littke damp after washing.

I love the lace on the hoodie! Such an unexpected touch!
The tie/teeshirt looks great - such a clever idea and I love how you have used plaid and lace on the hoodie.
We are happy to have you as a contributor:)
